The Adventures in Mrs. Ripp's Room

Our next unit of investigation is the Moon, so students will be asked to observe the Moon once a night for the next 2 weeks.  This is not mandatory, however, I encourage at least several observations.  The process is:

1. View the Moon
2. Glue in the appropriate Moon phase picture (provided) in their Night Sky Log
3. Write in date and time
4. Record a few comments about your observation of the sky.  Can they see stars, planets, or the Moon?
5. Students report their findings to me on Friday’s and we do a class chart.
